Unplug & Play

Spend your Tuesday afternoons at the library and unwind from your school day. Each week will feature supplies such as LEGO, board games, puzzles, crafts and projects. Activities will be geared toward school-aged kids. No registration, just drop in between 3:15 and 4:15. Activities run October through April.

 

Summer Reading Program

Beginning June 14 through end of August 14 children participate by reading and logging the days that they read for prizes.We will provide you ideas for keeping you r kids busy all summer. Programs available for all ages! Check our calendar for specific dates and times. 

 

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Children ages birth up to Kindergarten take on the challenge to have 1000 books read to them before entering Kindergarten. Register to receive your free journal. Claim prizes as your child works their way into the 1000 book club. 

 

Field Trips

We strive to support teachers and parents in a variety of educational settings by offering field trips customized to the needs or your group. Please contact the library for more information about setting up a visit to fit your educational needs. 

 

Special Events

Check the calendar throughout the year for special events for children of all ages. Our past events Include tea parties and book parties based on: Pinkalicious, Fancy Nancy, Harry Potter, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Lightning Thief, Captain Underpants, and Junie B. Jones. 

 

Story Time

September through May young children can explore early literacy through stories, games, songs, and activity centers. Toddler and Preschool classes are available.  All Story Time sessions are “drop-in” with no pre-registration required. Check our calendar for specific dates and class descriptions.
