Join us October through April after school on Tuesdays 3:15-4:15 to "Unplug" from school, get crafty or play a game. Snacks are provided.
Beginning June 1st through July 26th children participate by reading and logging the days that they read for prizes. We will provide you ideas for keeping your kids busy all summer. Programs available for all ages! Check our calendar for specific dates and times.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Children ages birth up to Kindergarten take on the challenge to have 1000 books read to them before entering Kindergarten. Register to receive your free journal. Claim prizes as your child works their way into the 1000 book club.
September through May: Children ages 0-7 can bring along an adult friend and meet in the community room. Join Mrs. Emmons as we explore stories, songs, crafts, and rhymes. No registration required, just drop in!

READ Program
Wickson Library is excited to announce that they are now partnering with the Saginaw READ Association’s READ Mentor Program! We are now offering 20 spots on Tuesday evenings for your readers grades 1-5 that would benefit from some one-on-one literacy practice with a trained mentor. This program is completely free for families.
This program begins on Tuesday, November 7th, and will go to Tuesday, April 9th.
Return this application to participate in the program. The first 20 applications will returned to the library will be accepted for the program.
